Mass Casualty Rapid Response Team

Unfortunately, we know there will be more mass casualty incidents. Whether it’s a school, a garlic festival, a Walmart, or a naval base; when these incidents occur every community is drinking from a fire hose and trying to figure out the best way forward. As a country, we are not tapping into the individuals that have experienced these tragedies previously. There are a lot of stakeholders from past tragedies that want to help the next community. Safe Schools For Alex is working to establish a Mass Casualty Rapid Response Team framework. I think we can jump-start the recovery process for the next tragedy and educate the next community about the impending ripple effects that inevitably lead to increased mental health issues.
